Established in 1991, Auerr, Zajac & Associates, LLP (www.azallp.com) is a small/mid-size accounting firm located in Franklin, MA. Our firm currently has 7 full time CPA’s and we are looking for another CPA to come on full time to help manage our growing client base. We offer a small office feel and a family-friendly working environment. We work very closely with our clients and pride ourselves on our client interaction and communication. Our primary focus as a firm is on tax preparation and planning for our corporate and personal clients, however we also offer reviewed and compiled statements. The perfect candidate is someone that is self-motivated, but wants to learn and take on a challenge. As the newest CPA on our team you will be working closely with the other CPAs in our office to handle the over-flow and at the same time fielding many of the new client calls and questions. TAX ASSOCIATE 


Job Description:

  • Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit, and fiduciary returns
  • Maintain and build client relationships with a variety of industries and personalities
  • Preparation of reviewed & compiled financial statements
  • Quickbooks consultation

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-5  years experience with a public accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA  or EA certification preferred. Will consider someone working towards their CPA.
  • Strong  personal and communication skills – must be comfortable dealing with clients face-to-face on a regular basis
  • Able to multi-task in an efficient and organized manner
  • Strong tax experience, CCH Axcess or Profx and financial statement preparation experience a plus
  • Someone who wants to look forward to going to work in the morning and work with a laid back (in the off-season anyway!) and fun group of people

ENTRY LEVEL TAX PREPARER

  

Job Description:

As the newest member of our team you will be working closely with the other CPAs in our office preparing tax returns and doing tax research.


Job Qualifications:

· A Bachelors Degree in Accounting – either possessing the 150 credit hours required   to sit for the CPA exam or working towards those hours

· Strong analytical, problem solving & decision making skills

· Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Experience in preparing individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit and fiduciary   tax returns a plus

· Quickbooks experience preferred

· Familiar with CCH Axcess or Profx a plus
